Externally Focused Conference Day 2
The Externally Focused Conference was a delight for me. As solid as each of the plenary, breakout and intensive speakers were, I think many folks would say the conference was great because of the people in the room--who they got to hang out with at the breaks, meals...and while talks were going on. Think about it...Rick McKinley, Robert Lewis, Amy Sherman, Don Simmons, Jack Jezreel, Alvin Bibbs, Laurie Beshore, Rick Rusaw, et al...and that doesn't include the passionate attendees.

This was my churches first time at the conference and I can say it won't be our last.We are a church of around 130 from Great Falls MT. The most beneficial thing for myself and the 5 others from my church was hearing from so many others at differnet stages of the externally focused process. We have just recrafted our Vision and Mision statements for our church and are definately changing our focus externally. It was good to here about the process of changing your focus and the ups and downs to expect. Also how to avoid some of the pit falls that might come. Awesome conference!!!
